Tata Motors has been awarded the 'All India Trophy for Top Exporters' by the engineering export promotion council of India, in the non- SSI manufacturing unit category, for the company's outstanding contribution to engineering exports for the year 2000-01. P.S. Borkar, assistant general manager - export finance, received the award on behssalf of Tata Motors from Arun Jaitley, the union minister for commerce and industry , at a ceremony in New Delhi.
