Engineering wins Good Corporate Citizen Award

Tata
Engineering has received the Good Corporate
Citizen Award presented by the Bombay Chamber
of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) for the year 1999-2000.
The award was instituted by the BCCI in 1993 to
recognise and award outstanding corporate citizenship
and community services by corporates.
The
winner selected by a panel of judges comprising
eminent citizens on the basis of a criterion which
includes overall achievement, social investment,
customer satisfaction, business performance, industrial
relations, employee welfare, safety standards,
and contributions to health and environment.
The
award was received by R. Gopalakrishnan, executive
director, Tata Sons Ltd. F. K. Kavarana, Ravi
Kant and V. K. Verma were also present during
the occasion.
