Telco’s
truck sales jump 22% in November, signals revival
in industrial demand

Telco,
the country’s largest truck maker, continues to
post strong growth in truck sales, indicating
a revival in industrial demand and the success
of its new launches. The Mumbai-based Telco on
Tuesday said truck sales in November rose 22%
year-on-year to 8,113 units, while cumulative
sales for April-November rose 32% to 63,694 units.
Medium and heavy truck sales in April-November
grew 31% to 43,652 units, while sales of light
trucks increased 33% to 20,042 units. Car and
utility vehicle sales grew 8% to 7,586 units,
of which Indica sales rose only by 11% to 5,758
units.
