Notes

The
Company is engaged in the manufacture of Pig
Iron which in the context of Accounting Standard-17,is
considered the only business segment. The
Company sells its product within India. The
conditions prevailing in India being uniform,
no separate geographical segment disclosure
is necessary.

Auditors
of the Company have carried out a Limited
Review of the Unaudited Financial Results
(Provisional) for the quarter ended June 30,2003.

Information
on investor complaints pursuant to Clause
41 of the Listing Agreement for the quarter
ended 30th June,2003:
Number of complaints pending as on 01.04.2003
NIL, received during the quarter 76,
disposed off during the quarter 76 and lying
unresolved NIL as on 30.06.2003

Figures
for the previous periods have been regrouped
wherever necessary to conform to the classification
of the current period.

The
above results have been taken on record in
the Board meeting of date.
