Tata Metaliks to acquire Usha Ispat

Tata Metaliks has won the bid to acquire the immovable and movable assets of Usha Ispat. MD at Tata Metaliks Mr HK Jha believes that the transfer process of this deal will come through in a month. He adds that this deal is worth Rs 115 crore and will add to their turnover once the capacity is operational, and their FY06 turnover is expected to be around Rs 850-900 crore. He adds that, iron-ore prices will remain relatively stable from current levels, and pig-iron prices will need to move up.
