Intl opens two offices in Uruguay and Turkey

Tata
International Ltd, the business gateway of Tata
Group, on Wednesday opened two new overseas offices
at Istanbul, Turkey and Montevideo, Uruguay aimed
at developing sources for steel trading and to
market steel products across the world. The aim
of setting up an office in Istanbul is to market
steel products in Greece, Bulgaria, Egypt and
North African countries, while that at Montevideo
is to explore export options through Mercosur,
Tata International said in a release here on Wednesday.
Mercado Commun del Sur, or Mercosur, is a trade
agreement signed by Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay
and Uruguay.
