Tata Chemicals (TCL), Babrala, has won the FAI Award for Best Technical Innovation in the field of production technology in the fertiliser industry. The award is jointly shared between TCL and Paradeep Phosphates Limited. TCL won the award for its entry 'Utilization of Service Boilers, Flue Gas for Neutralising Alkaline Effluent of DM water plant.'

TCL Haldia, for the fourth consecutive year, has been adjudged by FAI as the best overall performing SSP Plant at Haldia.

The awards will be presented on December 5, 2007, in New Delhi at the inaugural function of the FAI Annual Seminar.
