The fertiliser division at Babrala has been awarded the 'Commendation Certificate for Strong Commitment to TQM' from the CII and Exim Bank. The award ceremony took place in Bangalore on November 4, 2003.

The CII-EXIM Bank Award for Business Excellence was instituted jointly by the Confederation of Indian Industry and Export Import Bank of India in the year 1994. The 'Commendation for Commitment to TQM' is one of the categories of awards under the CII-EXIM Bank Award for Business Excellence. This award is based on the European Foundation for Quality Management model, which is ranked among the best in the world.
