TMT to enter China, ASEAN Countries

Tata Group' Company, TACO MobiApps Telematics Ltd (TMT) today said it was in talks with various companies to enter China, Thailand and ASEAN Countries. TMT which provides vehicle tracking solutions, will draw synergies from its parent company Tata Auto Comp Systems (TACO) for this foray, TMT CEO Praveen Gupta told reporters here. "We are working on business plans and hope to enter these countries in the next fiscal," he said. However, even as it attempts to cross shores, TMT has drawn up big expansion plans for the domestic market from which it expects revenues of Rs 60 crore in the 2006-07 fiscal, where it expects to sell 40,000 units.
