Tata
Mutual Fund crosses $4 billion milestone for assets under
management

Witnessing exponential growth
in the past few years, Tata Mutual Fund's assets under
management crossed the $4 billion milestone on May 30,
2007. This represents a growth of nearly 20 times in
the last four years against the industry's growth of
approximately five times. In March 2003, Tata Asset
Management managed assets of $200 million.
It may be recalled that Tata
Mutual Fund has made it to the top 50 service brands
in India alongside service brands like SBI, LIC, Taj
Hotels, IIT, and IIM in the prestigious "Economic
Times Brand Equity Annual Survey 2007". This survey
covered 13 cities and included all service categories
(financial services, hotels, telecom, airlines, education,
etc.). Tata Mutual Fund is ranked fourth amongst all
mutual fund brands.
Three schemes of Tata Mutual
Fund have also recently won awards in their respective
categories. Tata Infrastructure Fund was ranked ICRA
MFR 1 and awarded the Gold Award for Best Performance
in the Open Ended Diversified Equity category. Tata
Income Fund was ranked ICRA MFR 1 and awarded the Gold
Award for Best Performance in the Open Ended Debt -
Long Term category. Tata Liquid Fund - SHIP was awarded
the Crisil Mutual Fund Award 2007 in the Liquid Fund
institutional category.
