Tata
Mutual Fund crosses the Rs 10,000 crore milestone of
assets under management on August 31, 2005

Tata Mutual Fund has been witnessing
remarkable growth in the past few years. Its assets
under management (AUM) has grown from Rs 1,027 crore
as on March 31, 2003, to Rs 10,000 crore as on August
31, 2005 - in a period of 29 months. This shows a growth
in AUM of 873 per cent during this period, thus making
it one of the fastest growing mutual funds in the last
three years.
Speaking on the occasion, Ved
Prakash Chaturvedi, managing director, Tata Asset Management,
said, "This is the result of our strong commitment
to providing best in class products and service to our
investors."
Tata Mutual Fund was the fastest
growing fund house as per AMFI data for the period March
2004 and March 2005 for MFs above Rs 1,000 crore. Tata
Mutual Fund currently has 60 touch-points with over
700,000 investors across the country. It also offers
a wide array of products across the risk-reward spectrum
for every financial need at various life-stages.
