Ved Prakash Chaturvedi has joined Tata Mutual Fund and will head the organisation as the chief executive officer of Tata TD Waterhouse Asset Management Private Limited. He succeeds Mr K. N. Atmaramani, who retires as managing director after a satisfying spell of seven years with the company since its inception.

Mr Chaturvedi was earlier the chief executive officer of Cholamandalam AMC Ltd., where he was responsible for the manifold growth of AUM (Assets Under Management) during his tenure.
