Tata AIG opens new branches in West Bengal

The Tata AIG Life Insurance Company (Tata AIG Life) on Thursday expanded its operations in West Bengal with the opening of four new full-service branches.

"Tata AIG Life will leverage its existing presence in the state and invest significantly in infrastructure besides capitalising on the insurance potential that West Bengal and the rest of the eastern region offers," Manish Lalwani, senior vice president and zonal business head of the company said.

"With this latest expansion in Bengal we see a push to our brand equity to a wider audience, build-up on a greater scale and a wider choice of our products closer to the customers' homes," Lalwani said.

Tata AIG Life is a joint venture company, formed by the Tata Group and the American International Group, Inc (AIG).
