Tata AIG Life Insurance Company has launched a training academy to offer certified insurance consultant programme (CICP) to employees of its corporate agents. 

Tata AIG would assist its corporate agencies in selecting candidates for the programme, the company said in a release on Monday. 

This programme was initially being flagged-off in Delhi and would be followed by such initiatives in Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune and Ahmedabad, it said. 

The first batch (to commence every quarter) was being launched in association with the company's five partners - Continental Insurance Brokers, Consolidated Education Services, Pelican Solutions, TCI International Ltd and Total Insurance Solutions, it added.
