Hotel 'Ginger', the 8th in the
hotel chain of Roots Corporation Ltd was inaugurated
yesterday, May 31 by Managing Director of Mico Ltd.
Dr. Albert Hieronimus in a simple ceremony.
'Ginger' is situated near the Satpur Police Station
on Trimbak Road, Joint Managing Director of Mico Ltd,
M Lakshminarayan and Chief Executive Officer of Roots
Corporation Ltd. Prabhat Pani were present on the occasion.
Prabhat Pani earlier briefed mediapersons regarding
Roots Corporation and the services and facilities it
offers. This is the second 'Ginger' hotel in Maharashtra,
after Pune.
Nashik is fast emerging as an important economic center
in Maharashtra over the last few years. The industrial
area is developing by leaps and bounds due to the arrival
of large industries. Nashik is becoming the favourite
destination for investors.
Hotel 'Ginger' will cater to both the higher and middle
classes. Nashik is characterized by good bsic facilities
and a modernised agricultural sector.
He informed that the tarrif ranges from Rs. 999 to
Rs. 1799. The categories of rooms are single, twin and
queen. There are 101 air conditioned rooms here. Posture-pedic
mattresses, electronic locks, 20 inch colour televisions
(LCD) along with satellite channels, a small refrigerator,
a small tes maker are the important features of 'Ginger'.
The other facilities include a gymnasium, cyber cafe,
automatic check-in kiosk, ATM, etc.
Though there is no room service, as business travellers
hardly require it, the user-friendly facilities more
than make up for it, Pani explained. The restaurant
offers buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner and this is
open to walk in customers (not residents) too.
A well stocked vending machine ensures that guests
do not go completely hungry should they feel like a
mid-night snack.
'Ginger' sure is a breath of fresh air and an altogether
new experience in hospitality.
