Ashok Shetty has been appointed as the chief operating officer (COO) of Rallis India effective April 1, 2008. As the COO, Mr Shetty will be responsible for the agri business operations, comprising agrochemicals, seeds and plant growth nutrients. Mr Shetty, a Rallis veteran and an industry stalwart, held the position of EVP – marketing and sales of Rallis and has led several innovative marketing practices over his career spanning over thirty years in the industry.
