The Institute of Economic Studies, New Delhi, has awarded the 'Udyog Rattan' to Viresh Oberoi, managing director, metaljunction. The institute also awarded the company the 'Certificate of Excellence in Productivity, Quality, Innovation and Management' for the year 2005.

The awards were presented by Dr Bhishma Narain Singh (Hon'ble former Governor of Tamil Nadu and Assam) during the seminar on economic development on May 28, 2005, at New Delhi. Since the MD was out of the country at that time, the award was received on his behalf by the regional manager in New Delhi, Sumeet Vinayak.
