Tata Sons has issued the following clarification in response to The Telegraph article headlined, ‘Solution for SRK in well-kept Delhi secret’, in Monday’s edition:

The information that Mr. Ratan N. Tata has a diplomatic passport is incorrect and mischievous. We clarify that Mr. Tata does not have a diplomatic passport. His passport is a normal one, just as any other Indian citizen. Neither does he receive any special facilities on arrival in the United States or in any other country.

We request you to bring this to the attention of your readers so that they know that Mr. Tata is an ordinary citizen of India, just like any one of us.
