Curtain raiser for Tata Steel Literary Meet
Jamshedpur: Tata Steel will host literary meets in Jharkhand (Ranchi) from December 1-2, 2017, in Bhubaneswar from January 11-13, 2018, and in Kolkata from January 22-27, 2017. A curtain raiser, entitled New Lessons, Age – Old Epics, An Evening with Devdutt Pattanaik, was organised today at the Centre for Excellence for these meets.

Speaking on the occasion, TV Narendran CEO and MD, Tata Steel, the event chief guest, said, “I am happy that the curtain raiser event is being held at Jamshedpur and I wish all the literary meets all success.”
Earlier, highlighting the forthcoming literary meets, Kulvin Suri, chief, corporate communications (India and SEA), said that it has been Tata Steel’s endeavour to promote art and literature in the country. This year, Jharkhand has been added to the list of literary meets and the event will start tomorrow at Ranchi. It would enable us to show case the literary talent of the state as well as provide a platform where distinguished scholars can put forth their narrations, thereby leading to a healthy exchange of ideas.
