Grand Prize of 2009 Good Design Selection of Korea
Mumbai: Tata Motors’s Prima truck range has been conferred with a prestigious South Korean award – the Grand Prize of 2009 Good Design Selection of Korea. Following the launch in India, the Prima truck range has been introduced in South Korea by Tata Daewoo Commercial Vehicle Company, the company’s wholly owned subsidiary in the country.
Besides winning the Grand Prize, the Prima range can now also sport the prestigious 'GD' mark, recognised across South Korea as a mark of excellence.
“Good Design Selection”, organised by the Korean Institute of Design Promotion (KIDP), is a certification system to recognise excellence in design, functionality, quality and safety. The selection process is jointly administered by South Korea's ministry of knowledge and economy (MKE) and the KIDP.
