Appointment of Yogi Sriram as senior V P — HR, Taj Group of Hotels

Yogi Sriram has joined the Taj Group of Hotels as senior vice president — human resources effective May 24, 2005.

Mr Sriram has 28 years of experience in the field of human resources. He has a masters degree from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, LLB from the University of Delhi and M.B.A. in organisation behaviour from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi. Mr Sriram is also a diploma holder from the Indian Society for Training & Development and he has been conferred Fellow of All India Management Association.

Mr Sriram's experience spans organisations in the public sector (National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd) and a MNC (Asea Brown Boveri Ltd). He has led HR for one of India's largest conglomerate, Larsen & Toubro Limited, prior to joining a transnational corporation, BP. His last assignment before joining us, was with BP, as HR director (Africa, Middle East, Turkey & South Asia), based at Mumbai.
