Epicure
Plan of the Taj InnerCircle
launch on January 7, 2002
January 7, 2002
At
the Taj we recognize the need to build and sustain
customer loyalty. The Taj InnerCircle was our
way of recognizing and creating a very special
experience for frequent users of our hotels. Now
we are taking the next step forward by enhancing
the benefits to customers who use our restaurants
frequently. From January 7, 2002, the Epicure
Plan, the Taj frequent diners program, will be
on offer to our customers. The Epicure Plan is
an add-on to the Taj InnerCircle programme. Guests
can enroll by paying an annual fee of Rs 2,000.
Key
highlights
-
The
Epicure Plan is an optional dining add-on
to the Taj InnerCircle. It aims to accelerate
rewards to the guests for their F&B
spends at our outlets.
-
A
guest can enroll as a member and start
earning points every time he/she dines
at participating Taj properties. The
Epicure points earned can be exchanged
for Taj gift vouchers.
-
With
membership to the Epicure Plan, members
get a return of 10 per cent (12 per
cent for Gold Members) on their F&B
usage at Taj restaurants, room service
and mini-bars. These returns will be
in the form of Taj gift vouchers, which
members can use for the settlement of
bills for their hotel stays or dining.
-
Members
will get InnerCircle points in the same
manner as earlier on all their non-F&B
expenditure. The returns on InnerCircle
points are lower and the rewards are
as per the redemption booklet.
-
The
Epicure Plan is currently restricted
to Taj Hotels in India.
The
food and beverages managers of the hotels
have the detailed concept note and they
will be driving force of the scheme
