Indian Hotels gets HC nod for merger

Indian Hotels Company has said the Bombay High Court has approved its proposed merger with four other hotels. In a filing to the BSE, the company said the Bombay High Court has approved the scheme of amalgamation entailing the merger of Indian Resort Hotels, Gateway Hotels and Getaway Resorts, Asia Pacific Hotels, Taj Lands End, Kuteeram Resorts with itself. The Bombay High Court approved of the merger on March 9. April 25 was fixed as the record date for determining the shareholders of Indian Resort Hotels who would receive equity shares of Indian Hotels Company.
