Taj Hotels ties up with Korean co

Taj Hotels Resorts
and Palaces has entered into a strategic agreement with
one of Korea's most prestigious hotel companies, The
Shilla Hotels & Resorts. The joint marketing alliance
is aimed at developing cross-promotional opportunities
for both companies. With similar brand positioning and
quality of service, the alliance will allow guests of
both the hotels to reap the benefits of reciprocal privileges.
"It will give us the opportunity to work with the
Shilla network to create greater awareness of the Taj
brand in Korea which is one of our key markets,"
Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL) MD, Raymond Bickson,
said.
