Tata Interactive Systems and Tata Sons win Silver at LearnX Impact Awards 2017

Tata Interactive Systems (TIS), a global pioneer in learning solutions, and Tata Sons have won a Silver award at the LearnX Impact Awards 2017.

The award-winning entry, Crisis Communications, won in the Best eLearning Design – Simulation category and was developed for Tata Sons to help employees better manage crisis situations. The simulation requires the learner to grapple with managing communication during a crisis over the course of a virtual week.

The Crisis Communications simulation is the result of a strong partnership between Tata Sons and TIS. The two group companies collaborated to conceptualise and develop an innovative learning solution that has been crafted to meet the specific business needs of their employees. The simulation gives learners a first-hand experience of how real-time offline and online communications must be managed and handled during a crisis.

The LearnX Impact Awards is an international awards programme that recognises multiple fields within talent management across the corporate, education and public service sectors. Each year the awards uncover incredible projects and solutions that deliver best practices and business value.

The Best Simulation Design award focuses on electronic media that are designed for learning-experience simulations in which videos, consoles, computers, mobile devices and/or simulation-based phone apps are used.
