The award was presented to Tata Power-DDL for its models: Patented Smart Sensor for Tamper Evident Metering, Silicone Therapy in Cables – Tree Retardant Performance and its Social Innovation model Leaders from Learners.
The model Patented Smart Sensor for Tamper Evident Metering uses a unique smart sensor to digitally stamp the meter with information of tampering, including time and date in case of any attempt of power theft. The second model – Silicone Therapy in Cables - Tree Retardant Performance – helps in improving the life of power cables through silicone therapy, aiding in prevention of damage to the power cables.
