The first ever Lego challenge exclusively at Landmark stores

Build the tallest Lego tower and win a dream trip to LEGOLAND Malaysia

Mumbai: ‘Build, but don’t step on it!’ LEGO Systems, Inc, makers of the world’s leading construction toys are embarking their journey with India’s leading leisure and entertainment retailer – Landmark with the first ever and biggest LEGO challenge in the country! With a goal to reinforce the magic of building step-by-step, Landmark provides the perfect platform for children across the country to build the tallest tower and win the most amazing chance to visit Legoland Malaysia.

Speaking on this association, Ekta Saran, business head, Landmark, says, “We are elated upon this association and look forward to exploring an array of innovative opportunities by highlighting the magic of LEGO in a child’s mind. We constantly believe in reinventing ourselves by creating platforms for children to discover creative ideas and enhance their skills.”

With kids enamored by social media, technology and gadgets, the importance of playing a sport, or a quintessential board game has lost its way into oblivion. In order to encourage this tinkering and exploration, Landmark took this initiative to reinstate Lego in the minds of young growing adults. It is the LEGO philosophy of ‘Good quality play’ enriching a child’s life and being the key element in children’s growth and development leading to creative ideas and expression.

Shedding light on this challenge, Ola Tykesson, country manager, LEGO Systems, Inc, says “LEGO Challenge is a unique opportunity for any child, be it boys or girls to explore the creativity and fun of the LEGO toy, with endless building opportunities and at the same time, it promotes imaginative discovery, self-expression and an awareness of how physical objects relate and interact with one another. But so ‘cool’ that all children don't even know that they are learning!”

Speaking on the Lego challenge, R Jeswant , senior vice president, sales and marketing, Funskool (India), says, “The LEGO Challenge is a wonderful opportunity for children to get a first-hand feel of building with LEGO bricks. LEGO, Landmark and Funskool have come together to provide this platform in accordance with the LEGO philosophy of learning and development through safe and high quality play.
