Tata Crucible Business Quiz held
The 10th edition of Tata Crucible Business Quiz - a knowledge initiative by the Tata group - saw the team of Dileesh Kumar and Balaji Viswanathan of Allianz emerging as winners and successfully making it to the zonal finals to be held in Bangalore on September 28.
The runner-up position was bagged by Jayasooryan K V and Prasanth Kumar from McFadyen Solutions.
The chief guest for the event, Damodar Padhi, vice-president (L&D - Global) - Tata Consultancy Services, awarded the prize of Rs 1,00,000 to the winning team and Rs 50,000 to the runner-up.
The Trivandrum regional round of Tata Crucible Business Quiz-2013 saw participation from 16 teams consisting of corporates from some of the leading companies. The top six teams of the quiz were selected after a written round. The other four teams that qualified for top six list included Vipin Austin and Mohamed Shemith (Indian Oil Corporation Ltd), Tanveer Ali and Siddhartha K Jha (Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, ISRO), Sherin Abraham and Sharad Jose (ACIS A Company of Allianz) and Anoop N E and Chithrasenan N E (Modern Book Centre)
This year, Tata Crucible Business Quiz will be conducted in 24 cities for non-Tata track and eight cities for Tata track.
The four new cities added this year are Jaipur, Raipur, Navi Mumbai and Guwahati.
