Mumbai: Tata Housing Development Company, one of the leading real estate companies in the country, with the intent to build and design high-performance buildings, received the award for the 'Promising Future Company – Real Estate, 2009' by GIREM (urban planning and real estate leadership forum).

 

The evaluation process was conducted by a panel of independent judges based on various parameters like growth in turnover, profit, number of employees, demonstrable leadership, degree of innovation, development of creative, ingenious production and marketing, extent of expansion into national footprints, legal and technical due diligence, response to customer service, projects launched, projects completed and executed on time, etc.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Brotin Banerjee, managing director and chief executive officer, Tata Housing said, “Receiving the award for the Promising Future Company – Real Estate, 2009 by GIREM Leadership Awards is a matter of great pride for us. These awards are a testimony of our constant endeavour to create innovative and landmark projects across the country for our consumers."

 

The jury for the Leadership Awards 2009 consists of Manisha Girotra (chairperson and managing director, UBS, India), Anuj Puri (chairman and country head, Jones Lang LaSalle Meghraj), Gopi Bhawnani (director, RSP Architects, Planners & Engineers (I)), Vinod Rohira (director – marketing and sales, CL Raheja), Santosh Martin (CEO, DivyaSree Developers) and Satish Magar (chairman and managing director of Magarpatta Township Development & Construction Company) amongst others.

 

Tata Housing recently won the 5-star and 4-star awards in the Best Development Marketing (Residential category) for Raisina Residency in Gurgaon and the Best Office Development (Commercial category) for Xylem Bengaluru at the CNBC Asia Pacific Property Awards.
