Mumbai: Tata Housing Development Company, one of the leading real estate companies in the country, with the intent to build and design high-performance real estate solutions, received the Asia Responsible Entrepreneurship Award for Community Engagement by Enterprise Asia (a non-governmental organisation for entrepreneurship).
Tata Housing Development Company has been honoured with this award for demonstrating a clear, sustainable plan for the betterment of the community by improving livelihood for the masses, providing better educational opportunity, and community engagement through its iconic project Shubh Griha.
The awards follow an in-depth search and selection process to generate entries, post the initial screening and audit verification by a reputed audit partner, the entries go through a score carding process by the auditors, panel of representatives from supporting organisations and final judging by the advisory panel.
Speaking on the occasion, Brotin Banerjee, managing director and chief executive officer, Tata Housing, said, “It’s a privilege to receive the award for community engagement for the Shubh Griha project, which is in line with the Tata philosophy of contributing and having a positive involvement with the society at large. These awards are a testimony of being successful in demonstrating a sustainable plan for the betterment of consumers.”
Tata Housing has been recently felicitated as the 'Promising Future Company – Real Estate, 2009' by GIREM and the 5 star and 4 star awards in the 'Best Development Marketing' (residential) category for Raisina Residency in Gurgaon and the 'Best Office Development' (commercial) category for Xylem Bengaluru, respectively, at the CNBC Asia Pacific Property Awards. All of Tata Housing’s projects are green building initiatives constructed and designed to positively contribute to the environment. |
