The service is aimed at teaching situational, spoken English through a simple interactive voice call by dialling 129222. Through this unique initiative, Tata Indicom has given its rich portfolio of VAS offerings a new dimension by empowering India with the first of its Mobile Learning offerings. To get started, the user simply has to dial 129222 from his Tata Indicom mobile or Walky and follow the course of over 40 chapters with the guidance of his personal teacher, Ms Maria. What’s more? There are practice sessions after every chapter as well. Priced at a very reasonable Rs20 per month, this service can be accessed by dialling 129222 for a mere 60 paise per minute. English Seekho is targeted at the migrant urban blue collared worker, who cannot converse in English and feels that learning to speak in English will add value to his life, either in terms of financial advancement or in terms of social acceptance.
