Tata Steel KZN has, in the short span of 21 months, set up a thriving ferrochrome business in South Africa, and in the true Tata spirit, launched several initiatives for the communities living around its plant


Tata Steel KZN is the Africa-based subsidiary of Tata Steel that was established in 2006. Located at Richards Bay on the KwaZulu-Natal coast of South Africa, Tata Steel KZN produces 150,000 tonnes of ferrochrome that is exported to Tata Steel customers in Asia, Europe and the United States.
