JAMIPOL (formerly known as Jamshedpur Injection Powder) is a joint venture company promoted by Tata Steel, SKW Stahl Metallurgie AG (Germany) and Tai Industries (Bhutan). Involved in the production and marketing of de-sulphurising compounds (DC), the company offers complete de-sulphurisation solutions to the steel industry.

Areas of business
JAMIPOL manufactures carbide-based DCs (CADs) and supplies customised carbide and magnesium based DCs (MAGs) to customer requirements. It caters to the domestic requirement of CADs, including supplies to Tata Steel, SAIL and JSW Steel. JAMIPOL also provides application know-how and support services to its customers with assistance from its technical collaborators.

In tandem with its construction partner, JAMIPOL undertakes turnkey projects for the construction of mono injection DS units suitable for mini blast furnaces.

Headquartered in Jamshedpur in eastern India, JAMIPOL has plants in Jamshedpur and Karnataka in southern India.
