Tata Power Solar Systems offers innovative solar solutions that cater to the needs of individual customers, large institutions and communities. The company was set up in 1989 as a joint venture between Tata Power and BP Solar, one of the largest solar energy companies in the world, and was called Tata BP Solar. In 2012, Tata Power bought out BP Solar's stake in the venture and renamed the company Tata Power Solar Systems.
