Taj Air offers executive charter services in India and overseas. Established in 1993, it is an associate of Indian Hotels and offers guests a flexible travel itinerary, customised schedules, express departures and direct access to destinations that are not connected on conventional routes.

The company is registered with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, India, as a non-scheduled operator.

It has a state-of-the-art maintenance facility manned by a dedicated team of ground engineers who have trained at the manufacturer’s facility. An experienced flying crew trained at Flight Safety International, ably supported by an operations team, ensures reliable time schedules.

Areas of business

• Aircraft charters: Taj Air offers connectivity to more than 200 destinations within India and all international destinations. The fleet comprises:
  • P.180 Avanti II: A brand new turbo prop aircraft, seats eight passengers, has a cabin height of 5’ 9” with the speed of a jet aircraft and superior short runway performance (can land on a runway of 3,286 feet)
  • Falcon 2000: A mid-range jet aircraft, seats eight passengers and has with the quietest wide body cabin (7.7 feet) in business aviation, with a non-stop flying range of six hours
  • Falcon 2000LX: A brand new mid-range jet aircraft, seats nine passengers and has the quietest wide body cabin (7.7 feet) in business aviation, with a range of eight hours of ‘non-stop’ flying
