Advinus Therapeutics, a drug discovery company backed by the Tatas, and Veeda CR, an Anglo Indian clinical research organisation (CRO) having specialised high-quality clinical pharmacology units in Plymouth, UK and Ahmedabad, have forged a strategic alliance to create an integrated drug discovery through Phase II platform. The alliance will offer packages involving pre-clinical and early clinical development, animal and human safety pharmacology, preclinical toxicology and pharmacology, clinical pharmacology and microdosing capabilities to pick drug candidates on the basis of human PK data, said a media release. The alliance will seek to leverage Veeda's biomarkers capabilities for pre-clinical and clinical applications.
