Trent Ltd has posted a 55.97 per cent increase in its net profit for the second quarter ended September 30, 2005 at Rs 5.74 crore as compared to Rs 3.68 crore in the corresponding quarter previous fiscal. Total income during the reporting quarter increased to Rs 89.69 crore as compared to Rs 56.69 crore in Q2 of FY-05.
