Trent''s Noel Tata to step down as MD from Aug 12

MUMBAI: Retailer Trent Ltd, part of the diversified Tata Group, said on Thursday its Managing Director Noel Tata will step down effective Aug 12 to take over as MD of Tata International Ltd.
Noel Tata will continue to remain on the board of Trent as non-executive vice chairman, Trent said in a statement. The firm said a new chief executive would be appointed as soon as possible.
