Bangalore: Quantum Corp., a leading global specialist in backup, recovery and archive, on Tuesday said it has entered into a distribution partnership in India with Tata Elxsi, the product engineering company of the USD 70 billion Tata group. Tata Elxsi will market, resell, service and support Quantum disk-based backup, tape and software products in India.

 

These products will be marketed to end users, as well as other India-based value-added resellers. In addition, Tata Elxsi will become a Quantum-authorised service provider, which will allow the company to provide maintenance and support services for customers and channel partners, a statement here said.
