Ramanathan Ramanan is MD and CEO of CMC

- Tata
group company CMC on Wednesday said it has appointed
Ramanathan Ramanan as its managing director
and chief executive officer. Mr Ramanan, who
has been associated with CMC since '01, succeeds
SS Ghosh, who retired on December 12 '03 after
completing his term. Mr Ramanan represented
Tata Consultancy Services as overseas regional
manager in the US before returning to India
to head TCS' Bangalore branch.
