Tata SCIP ( Second Careers Inspiring Possibilities) is a unique initiative which creates opportunities for women returning to the workforce after a career break.

Tata SCIP (Second Careers Inspiring Possibilities), is a platform for women transitioning into a career after a break. With an onboarding methodology that makes the process faster and more efficient, it offers multiple career options, providing women the choice to select either part time or full-time employment.

SCIP is essentially a 'career transition management programme', that focuses on developing alternative talent pools in both traditional and non-traditional formats.

This pioneering programme was launched on International Women's Day in March 2008. Using this platform, Tata companies post their short- and long-term talent requirements throughout the year. Aspirants can log on to www.tata.com/scip to view, select and apply for available roles.

The programme offers three formats — projects, consultant roles and full-time roles — and candidates are given the flexibility to apply as per their time commitments.
