Super 30 founder Anand Kumar to address 'Tata Jagriti Yatra'
Patna: 'Super 30' founder mathematician Anand Kumar, who has helped students from underprivileged sections make it to the IIT-JEE, has been selected as a role model to address youths as part of the Tata Group's 'Tata Jagriti Yatra'.
Under the Yatra, a group of motivated youth from India and abroad are being taken on a nationwide journey by train and brought face to face with innovators and institutions that have made a big difference, company sources said today.
The Yatra began from Mumbai on December 24 and would pass through various places in the country.
Anand would address the youth on January 10 at Mithapur in Gujarat to inspire them to reach new heights.
Earlier, Anand had been invited by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) to speak at a conference on "Making the Difference" held at Coimbatore.
Last year, he had also been invited to IIM, Ahmedabad, Pizza Hut, USA as well as Abu Dhabi to share his experiences.
"It is also a learning experience for me. The 'Jagriti Yatra' is a great social movement to take development to the grassroots level," Anand said.
