IOC, Tata in tie-up for service station

Indian Oil Corporation and Tata Motors have entered into a strategic alliance for initiating joint marketing activities, including the setting up of the Tata Authorised Service Stations in select IOC retail outlets.

As per the memorandum of collaboration signed between both the parties, IOC and TML would jointly identify the potential locations for setting up TASS and Tata Service Facilities at the former’s retail outlet network in the country.

While TASS would be a full-fledged commercial vehicle service outlet, Tata Service Facilities would offer minor running repairs and accident/breakdown repair facilities to truckers.

Mr. P.K Agarwal, director (marketing), Indian Oil Corporation said: “This is the largest initiative in our constant efforts to deliver value to the customer. The move by the Indian Oil Corporation and Tata Motors will make a huge difference in the market.”
