Consequent to the orders of the High Court of Judicature, Mumbai, and the High Court of Punjab and Haryana sanctioning the scheme of amalgamation of Hind Lever Chemicals Limited with Tata Chemicals Limited, Hind Lever Chemicals Limited has merged with Tata Chemicals Limited effective from June 1, 2004.
