A joint venture promoted by Tata Steel, SKW (Germany) and Tai Industries (Bhutan), Jamipol was set up to manufacture and market de-sulphurising compounds. Used for the production of low-sulphur, high-quality steel, these compounds are the latest in hot-metal de-sulphurisation technology.

Jamipol manufactures carbide and magnesium-based de-sulphurising compounds and, with its exclusive agreement with SKW, has the know-how to customise its products to specific customer requirements.
