and Tata Group present the Tata Tennis Legends Tournament

Tennis superstars
Bjorn Borg, Vijay Amritraj, Guillermo Vilas, Henri Leconte,
John Lloyd, Mansour Bahrami, Anand Amritraj and Ross
Case will be seen in action at the Tata Tennis
Legends Tournament starting tomorrow. The tournament
has been organised by the Cricket Club of India (CCI)
with the Tata Group as the title sponsors. It will be
played at the CCI Tennis Courts from May 3 to 6, 2001.
The tournament will
be held at the CCI's newly-resurfaced synthetic courts.
The matches will start at 6 pm and will be played under
floodlights. The players will vie for both singles and
doubles titles. Starting tomorrow, some exclusive matches
have been planned between the Legends and
special corporate invitees. A 'Tennis Clinic' will also
be held on May 4, 2001, for children from the club and
the Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association (MSLTA).
The Cricket Club of India is an all-sport complex with
modern playing facilities which can match the best available
in India. A leading institute of its kind in the state,CCI
has been in existence for over 60 years and has organised
several international events at its premises. Besides
cricket, the worlds top-ranked players have figured
in squash, billiards/snooker, tennis and badminton tournaments
at the club in the recent past.
