Tatas
invite school children to play with tennis 'legends'

Eight
tennis 'legends, including Bjorn Borg, Vijay Amritraj,
Guillermo Vilas, Henri Leconte, John Lloyd, Mansour
Bahrami, Anand Amritraj and Ross Case, will soon be
in the city to play the Tata Tennis Legends Tournament.
And four lucky youngsters will have an opportunity to
take centre court against them at the CCI on May 3,
2001. The participants will be young winners from the
slogan contest launched by the Tatas.
The
contest, being held for school children in Mumbai, requires
youngsters below the age of 15 years to complete the
slogan, "I dream of playing Bjorn Borg because
"
and mail it to the company with the relevant details
before April 28, 2001. The four best slogan writers
will get a chance to play with the 'legends'.
Anticipating
a good response to the contest, Romit Chaterji,
vice-president, corporate affairs, Tata Group, said,
"The Tata Group has a longstanding commitment to
the furtherance of sport in the country. This is a wonderful
opportunity for young tennis fans to realise their dream
of playing with some of the international greats of
tennis. Showcasing superior talent in this manner is
a sincere attempt to encourage gifted youngsters
to take the sport more seriously."
