Schalken to play in Tata Open

Sjeng Schalken, the No. 1 Dutchman on the ATP circuit for the third straight year, confirmed his participation for the Tata Open 2002 Tennis Championship to be held at SDAT Tennis Stadium from December 30. Schalken, who has seven ATP doubles titles to his credit, finished the year ranked 20 in the 2002 ATP Champions Race.
