Prasad Menon is the managing director of Tata Power. Serving with ICI for 20 years, he joined Nagarjuna Fertilisers and Chemicals where he was director (technical) and also the sector chief of its agri-business. Menon took over as the managing director of Tata Chemicals in October 2000.

A chemical engineer from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, Menon has worked with some of the best companies in the Indian chemicals industry.
